Individualized 1-1 Sessions

Work directly with me through private therapeutic coaching sessions to learn how to use yoga as a therapeutic tool to support your own unique body and nervous system. Together, we can improve your overall well-being.

Why 1-1 therapeutic yoga?

If you’ve tried different approaches but still feel stuck—physically, mentally, or emotionally—one-on-one therapeutic yoga offers a different way in. Through personalized guidance, you’ll learn how to work with your body, breath, and nervous system in a way that supports your unique needs.

Over time, you’ll develop skills you can use off the mat to support resilience, recovery, and a greater sense of ease in daily life

Although therapeutic yoga is designed to complement—not replace—medical care, it will empower you to take a more active and informed role in your health.

Yoga modalities curated for your needs.

Yoga isn’t just about the poses (i.e., asanas); there’s so much more to it! The healing potential of yoga holds much more complexity than what you can learn in a traditional studio.

Therapeutic yoga pulls from an array of modalities such as breath work, myofascial release, yin yoga, yoga nidra, and many others. Individualized programs that tailor all of these modalities to address your unique needs provide a balanced approach to healing.

The individualized structure of private sessions allows me to create a curated therapeutic program that meets your needs and goals.

A multi-dimensional approach.

I begin with an intake evaluation during which I conduct a health history to gather information specifically related to your condition(s). If relevant, I then observe your static posture, movement, and postures to analyze muscle mechanics.

Based on this information, I create a Yoga Assessment Plan that includes a collection of the modalities listed above, tailored to your unique needs. This Yoga Assessment Plan will evolve as the sessions progress until you reach your desired state of health and wellness.

*Note, if I am working alongside your medical provider, I adhere to their diagnosis and tailor my Yoga Assessment Plan to complement their treatment plan. (learn more)

What to expect.

  • A focus on nervous system regulation.

A regulated nervous system is essential to any type of wellness goal. So, regardless of your treatment focus, each session will incorporate techniques that support your body’s ability to shift out of stress and into states of rest, recovery, and balance.

  • A personalized, supportive approach.

I take an adaptive approach to 1-1 sessions. Each session is tailored to your body, needs, and goals. We begin every session by discussing what you’re experiencing—whether that’s pain, stress, burnout, or simply a desire to better understand your body and nervous system. We then tailor that session to meet your current and ongoing needs.

  • Gentle, adaptive practices.

Sessions may include a combination of movement, breathwork, and guided awareness. Everything is adapted to your comfort level, abilities, and any existing health considerations—no prior yoga experience is needed.

  • Learning practical tools.

Rather than simply being led through exercises, you’ll learn how to use these practices on your own. The goal is to help you develop skills you can apply in daily life to support your well-being.

  • At your pace.

This work is not about pushing or performing. Sessions are paced to meet you where you are, with an emphasis on safety, awareness, and sustainable progress.

  • Complementary to your existing care.

Therapeutic yoga is designed to support—not replace—medical or mental health care. If you are working with healthcare providers, this work can complement your existing treatment plan.
